Presented by Hong Kong Design Center's "Design Spectrum" - "Taking the Future" exhibition finale, organized by the Hong Kong Design Center and funded by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), this year's "Design Spectrum" Dedicated to exploring the concept of "inheritance" from a design perspective, the exhibition brings a three-part themed exhibition "PASS THE BATON". The first part "Crossing the Boundary" and the second part "Overclocking" have been successfully held earlier, and the third part of the finale wandered around the vibrant Sham Shui Po district and was held on the ground of the DX Design Center at 280 Tongzhou Street An exhibition is held on the floor to warm up the official opening of the DX Design Museum (also funded by CCIDA) in early December!
Earlier, the two-part exhibition "Crossing the Boundary" and "Overclocking" have shown the public the role of design in inheritance, explored what inheritance is and what is worthy of inheritance, and used design cases and their creative processes as the entry point. For public enjoyment. The third part of the exhibition "Transfer" is the continuation and extension of the first and second parts. It shows how design can enhance the visibility of heritage values, explore the possibility of preserving and applying heritage in different situations, and sincerely invites the public to participate. The exhibition will be held from 19 October to 17 November, 2024, and it is free to visit by appointment.
